When it was still the time of the Junge Wilden (the Young Wild Ones)!
Heimo Zobernig is considered one of these Young Wild Ones, who were in search of their own artistic expression in the 1980s.
They often found this in fine niches. They made their own music, designed LP covers, books texts and posters.
In the exhibition at the Rupertinum in Salzburg, these graphic works by Heimo Zobernig can now be seen. Using examples from the library, archive and collection, the Austrian artist’s exploration of the linguistic and visual conditions of artistic publishing is presented.
