“Perhaps main paths are detours that turn byways into main paths?” noted Gesine Probst-Bösch (1944-1994) in the early 1990s about her personal approach to painting. In an extensive retrospective, the exhibition “Ten Arrows, One Heart and One Soul” brings together painterly and graphic works from the artist’s estate. Her artistic work always developed along her personal perception of the world and thus expressively reflects her pronounced sensitivity as well as her precise artistic view of her life and surroundings.
