Film as Muse tells of the often obsessive relationship between cinema and contemporary visual art. The group exhibition, co-curated by Séamus Kealy and Adam Budak, is the result of a long-term research project. This research project also includes an online platform for the Salzburg Kunstverein website.

A number of artists, yet to be named, have been invited to present their work. On display will be works that tell of the special relationship to certain scenes in the cinema. The creative and, as already mentioned, partly obsessive relationship between cinema and visual art in all its manifestations is in the foreground here.
