Here, musical experimentation is writ large: This August, the V:NM association is staging the Festival for New Music at the Volkshaus in Graz. For three days you can experience new music by young and already established musicians. The tenor saxophonist Cene Resnik will open the festival. The well-traveled musician studied jazz saxophone in Klagenfurt. Joining him will be Klemens Pliem, also on saxophone, and drummer and percussionist Urban Kusar from Slovenia. Other musical guests include pianist Katharina Klement, multi-instrumentalist Samo Kutin, Denovaire, Robert Lepenik on guitar, Jaka Berger Drums & Electronics, Patrick Wurzwallner. The opening day alone presents five concert episodes between 19:00 and 22:00h. The entire program is available online.
