The Filmarchiv Austria and the Viennale present the open-air cinema at Augartenspitz. This year, tributes to Frances McDormand and the Polish director Krzysztof Kieslowski will be shown, “Viennale Favorites” music and silent films round off the program of this year’s cinema summer. All films will be repeated the following day at Metro Kinokulturhaus. The open-air cinema will also take place in case of bad weather, blankets and rain protection will be provided. This year’s films include Fuchs im Bau, Nomadland, Die zwei Leben der Veronika, Kajillionaire, I’am Greta and Minari – wo wir Wurzeln schlagen.
