In light of climate change and the fact that more than half of the world’s population already lives in ever-growing cities, the organization and design of cities, with their impact on resource consumption, are central to meeting this millennial challenge. The third day of the UNESCO City of Design panel discussion will focus on the theme of sustainable urban development.
Keynote Speaker Aglaée Degros, Professor of Urbanism at Graz University of Technology, will speak on “The Sustainable City – The Fragile City”.
