On the occasion of her 80th birthday, the Kunsthaus Wien honors the photographer Elfie Semotan with an exhibition. The extensive retrospective spans six decades of Semotan’s artistic work. Here, her spectrum ranges from haunting portraits and shots from the studios of various female artists to landscape photographs. In the 1990s, Semotan became internationally known for her exclusive work with fashion designer Helmut Lang.
