The Linz International Film Festival Crossing Europe will be postponed until June. The festival planned for April has decided to take this step due to the current Corona situation. The fear is to be still too limited in April due to the Corona situation. In June a “physical event of usual size” shall take place, supplemented by an online offer. Exchange and conversation among the festival participants are an essential part of the festival, which one does not want to do without. There is also an additional venue: due to the loosened seating arrangement and the increased space requirements, Central and OK Platz will be played as an open air encounter zone for the first time. And as in 2020, there will be a selected streaming offer.
