An exhibition of works by Norbert Pümpel is on view at v-a-i in Vorarlberg. In his multi-layered paintings, Pümpel addresses complex scientific and philosophical issues. In doing so, he repeatedly takes positions on socio-political developments and, in particular with the “Scientific Disaster” works, raises the question of the ethical responsibility of scientific research.
