Until the end of November you can see Martin Gruber’s “Bürgerliches Trauerspiel” on the homepage of the aktionstheater ensemble. The play celebrated its premiere in September and is now available to the public online.
The world seems to have come apart at the seams. The pandemic is inspiring national populists. The gap between rich and poor is widening. Nature threatens to collapse. Nevertheless, the players are happy to finally be back on stage. When does life begin, a ludicrous, anarchic swan song about a life as it once was.
