22.10. – 20.11.2020. With “Interwoven Lives”, the artist Karin Pliem is showing a group of oil paintings at the Kunstverein Paradigma in Linz.

In her colourful and form-rich paintings the artist Karin Pliem, born in Salzburg, conveys an idyll of life in harmony with nature. Plants, flowers, fruits and animal creatures of various origins as well as fragments of important art and cultural assets are interwoven with each other. “I am committed to the togetherness of nature, culture and civilisation,” says the artist. ” Specifically, it is about the vision that humans will understand the ‘language of nature’ in such a way that they will not only deal with it scientifically, but also recognise that they live in a symbiotic community with it and are able to communicate and help shape this symbiosis.

The exhibition can be seen at the Kunstverein Paradigma in Linz until 20th of November.
