Reopening 11.02. – 05.04.2021
An exhibition by the artist Aneta Grzeszykowska entitled “Family Skin” is on display at the Francisco Carolinum. The theme of the Polish artist is the human – and especially female – body as a projection surface. Traditional ideas, fantasies, prejudices and alienation are the focus of her series of works. Using photographic and sculptural means, she focuses on the construction of a physical aesthetic as an ideal image, also by opposing it with the traces of age and disfigurement.
