In November it’s time for Dialogues again – the festival for contemporary music opens its doors in the proverbial sense. The Dialogues-Dialogue will bring together visitors, artists, music of different times and styles, even if the 2020 edition requires more sensitivity and flexibility. A festival is planned that connoisseurs and newcomers alike can get involved in. The festival will bring a mixture of experiments and discoveries, genre boundaries will be blown up and old & new as well as electronic and popular music will be harmoniously combined with exciting premieres. This year, Helmut Lachenmann, Daniel Hope with the Zurich Chamber Orchestra, Elektro Guzzi with the Stuttgart Chamber Orchestra, Mirga Gražinytė-Tyla with the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, BartolomeyBittmann, or Christoph Sietzen together with the L’Orfeo Baroque Orchestra at the Salzach.
