In October, a sound installation by Albert Mayr will be on view or heard in the Lisi Hämmerle Gallery. The artist, who lives in Vienna, will realize a composition of different media in the Bregenz Gallery, which will put the viewer’s practiced modes of perception to the test. The elements video, sound and sculpture play into each other here. The means of optical illusion and the musical structure of the canon characterize this work.
