Every year the Local Artists section of the Crossing Europe Festival offers an attractive overview of current Upper Austrian film production. For this reason, the festival makes a three-day stop in the Upper Austrian cultural quarter in October to offer local directors a forum. The programme with 51 short films puts new voices as well as established film artists in the spotlight. Local Artists film prizes are also awarded during the film show.
