Artists in particular are suffering from the current crisis. The Viennese design studio Identity Lab did not want to come to terms with this and has created a presentation platform for local artists with “Art Aid”.
“The Corona crisis has deprived many artists of every opportunity to show their work. We want to do something about this,” says Reitsperger, one of the initiators. Art Aid” wants to be a virtual showroom for local art: to date, the website contains around 90 works of art by 25 different artists. The photographs, graphics and paintings are printed in various sizes by a Viennese art printer and then sent by post.
