Ingeborg Strobl “Gelebt” / Mumok Wien

(c) Ingeborg Strobl, Tulpe

17.06. until 10.01.2021.

The Mumok reopens on 17 June 2020, including an exhibition by Ingeborg Strobl entitled “Lived”. Strobl’s works stand in the tradition of conceptual and cross-media art. She has donated her archive with numerous works and prints to the mumok, which provides a representative insight into her extensive oeuvre. The exhibition focuses on early ceramic works created during her studies in London, which have rarely been shown until now. Strobl’s sense for the beauty hidden in the ephemeral, or for the frailty of all splendour, is already manifested in these early works.
