The GrazMuseum has already started a topothek for Graz in autumn 2019. A Topothek is a jointly created and designed online archive as well as a regional historical reference book. The aim is to secure and make visible scattered historical material from private collections. Images, sound recordings, videos, objects, written documents and additional information on the memorabilia are digitally stored in the topothek for a collective memory and remembrance. The search is on for lost and existing restaurants, businesses and memories such as celebrations, upheavals or sporting events.
