The almost 125-year history of cinemas in Vienna is presented in the new exhibition of the Filmarchiv Austria in the Metro Kinokulturhaus, now also available in digital form.
Original exhibits and numerous theme islands vividly convey the fascination of cinema in Vienna, a fascination that is still unbroken today. The exhibition invites visitors to experience Vienna’s past and present cinematic landscape on three levels. This pleasure can also be experienced almost completely online by simply surfing through the picture loop.
