On the blog “Strong women. Strong stories” the Frauenmuseum Hittisau tells the biographies of extraordinary women.
“What can culture achieve in a global crisis situation? It can support, motivate, give impulses, show perspectives.” With these words the Frauenmuseum Hittisau starts its blog “Strong Women. Strong stories”. It presents biographies of women who, despite adverse circumstances, have found ways to remain true to their ideas and themselves and to defy their fates.
The first one is the biography of the Italian doctor and Nobel Prize winner Rita Levi-Montalcini. But the “heroines of everyday life” also have their say: the teachers, cashiers and nurses who keep our system in crisis.
