The “Days of Utopia” – the festival for a good future presents lectures and discussions online as podcasts and videos.
“I don’t understand why people are afraid of new ideas. I’m afraid of the old ones.” This quote by composer John Cage has been made the principle of their festival by the two festival makers Hans-Joachim Gögl and Josef Kittinger. Since 2005, the two masterminds of our time have been inviting people to the Bildungshaus St. Arbogast in Götzis in Vorarlberg every two years.
Over the years this has also resulted in a comprehensive archive of podcasts and online videos with lectures and discussions from previous editions of the festival, which give us food for thought for a better future.
Encouraging thoughts and ideas for a better future, whose time could soon come now, when we have overcome the Corona crisis and much will not be the same as before.
Currently to be recommended: The lecture podcasts by Christian Felber and Lisa Muhr on public welfare economics or Ingrid Brodnig’s utopia of the internet as a just net.
