Wether in front of, on or behind the stage: The spleen*graz theatre festival offers a program for young theatre – lovers that can be proudly presented. A total of 16 international productions are shown at different locations throughout Graz.
The younger children go on a journey with the wind, experience a seasonal adventure with the puppet theatre Eins zwei drei vorbei or save the world with Wuff. In the multicultural play I will be everything, the older ones can learn all about children’s wishes for the future, create a multiverse or practice what love means in life. Teenagers can rise in the electro pop opera/comic of age/neon production The only way is up or collect dance experiences with Role Model.
The varied supporting programme with workshops, theatre pedagogical support, the spleen*trieb Festival within the festival or the spleen*tandem, where you are sent through a spleen day in a double pack, offers the opportunity to discover theatre anew.
The first spleen in-house production 8 windows, which is part of the Cultural Year Graz 2020, starts already two days before the official opening of the festival.
