Between art and club culture: Three days of club festival at the OK, with exhibition, talks and lots of music..
The OK Klubinstitut works at the interface between art and club culture. It is about music and dance as well as experiment and design. At the OPEN Club Festival, the OK in Upper Austria’s Kulturquartier is transformed for three days into the festival headquarters with DJs, live acts and talks. In addition to numerous international musicians such as Byeton, Lena Willikens and Efdemin, there are also local acts such as Anna Leiser, Pulsinger & Irl and Mishka.
The club festival is the kick-off to the exhibition at the OK, which is dedicated to the borderline between art and club culture and presents works from and about the club scene. Artistic positions from the perspective of scene protagonists can be found as well as outside views, documentaries and commissioned works.
