Everything changes, why not drawings?
The title of the exhibition at the Museumspavillon Salzburg refers to changing manifestations of drawings that Birgit Pleschberger has dealt with in recent years, drawing being among her preferred artistic means.
While Pleschberger initially developed wall-filling, graphic compendia from a large number of individual sheets, she now uses metal joints to add or superimpose multiple-like solitaire forms. This possibility of an ongoing change of appearance leads to a shifting of other levels of meaning.
The Slovenian sculpture artist Bostjan Drinovec, who was significantly involved in the “mental process of creation”, shows his view of the theme in the form of his metal sculptures.
