A film shoot in the museum where the visitors become contributors.

The Viennese artist quartet Gelatin transforms the Museumsquartier into a film set. For their joint exhibition with the New York artist Liam Gillick they have built a movie set installation, based on a film script by Gillick.
The filming takes place in the context of the exhibition, in which the audience can participate. The finished parts of the film will be shown during the exhibition.

The internationally active artist group Gelatin often tries to involve museum visitors in their performances, turning an audience into a community. In doing so they go from the individual to the collective, the result remains open. Her anarchic and unconventional approach, paired with humor and logic as well as chaotic accuracy make her performances an unpredictable event.

British-born artist and author Liam Gillick highlights structures and processes in shaping society and is the author of numerous art-critical writings. Sensational works of art in public space and numerous international exhibitions line its way.

Curators: Lucas Gehrmann, Luca Lo Pinto
