Alternative meets pop culture, international meets local: Cultural entertainment at the poolbar-Festival.
What began as an artistic workshop series has now established itself as a fixed component in the summer festival scene: From niches to pop, the poolbar festival celebrates cultural conflicts and club culture at the same time. For six weeks, the Alte Hallenbad in Feldkirch will be a hotspot for international music and public discourse.
The programme ranges from family-friendly jazz breakfasts in the park, cinema, cabaret, discussions, performances and club nights to concerts with renowned bands or those that can be discovered as insider tips. The line-up is impressive: Austria’s mega stars picture book comes to the poolbar on the Wiese Open Air with bags full of new songs and two current albums. Xavier Rudd, Keb’ Mo’, Mattiel, The Twilight Sad, Tove Lo, Propaghandi, Ed Rush, Camo & Krooked and Todd Edwards are just a few of the artists to be seen at the festival. From Indie-Rock to Hip-Hop to Jazz there is something for everyone.
