“Sigalit Landau. Salt Years” / Museum der Moderne, Salzburg

Art in the saltiest of “seas”. Sculptor, video and installation artist Sigalit Landau uses the Dead Sea as a source of inspiration for her works. She “baptises” a variety of everyday objects and fabrics in the sea, leaving them there for months. In her works Sigalit Landau addresses questions of female identity and body concepts. Based at Museum der Moderne, this exhibition shows a selection of readymades from everyday objects as well as Sigalit Landau’s most important video works.
