Spatial installation on the history of the psychologization of education and its forms of presentation.

Stuart Middleton works interdisciplinary and site-specific. His installations, which are supplemented with sculptures, videos, drawings and paintings, always deal with the architectural conditions of the space and create an overall picture that can not be assigned to a stereotypical expectation. It provides the observer with space for new associations and conclusions.

His space-spanning, walk-in installation at the Künstlerhaus Graz, curated by Sandro Droschl, deals with the extensive history of the psychologization of education and its formally and visually sophisticated didactic forms of presentation. He juxtaposes a specially designed, own view of a “education complex”.
